In 2007, Weimin Zhang released an interactive multimedia DVD-ROM, Nu Shu – The Secret Language of Women. This multimedia project has won the following awards:
- The Library of Congress Permanent Collection – Asian Division
- 2007 The International Ava Award
- Best Electronic Media Award – 2nd China National Publishing Product Award, 2008
The international Ava Awards recognize outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting, and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. Ava Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP)
China National Publishing Product Award is the highest national award in China’s publishing field. The award competition runs every three years since 2005
